Oops...

So the red is positive and the black is negative? Are you sure it has always been that way? Because no way would my mechanic ever screw up.

Where Was You At?

35 years ago this weekend, Three Mile Island had a  "small steam leak". Why does it look as though parts of downtown Harrisburg never recovered?

Yesterdays

Unfortunate events sent me back to my old stomping grounds. Nostalgia never had it this industrial. Along the banks of the Mighty Mississippi.

My Last Days On Earth

Just outside Schafferstown, Pa.
Sunday afternoon in the not to distant past, a road trip. Unclear of the final destination, I pull into the local mini-mart. The conversation was enlightening.
"Do you happen to know where there is an old distillery in the area?"
"Nope, never heard of such a thing."
"Any chance any of the locals around here might know?"
"I doubt it, but come to think of it, there is Distillery Rd. about a half mile back. You probably drove right past it."
"Thanks, Genius"

Catch a quick glimpse before it is gone.

Boxcars

Railways have always fascinated me. Train yards are cool. The fantasy of hopping the boxcar while far outdated makes me wish for a simpler time. Except for the part where I am hungry, cold and sleeping on the floor. That might suck.
